Skybox on Sheffield can be rented by groups or corporate entities ranging in size from 10-200. Special exceptions can be made upon management pre-approval. Each group upon selecting the date of interest, and submitting the necessary deposit (see rental agreement), will fax the SIGNED agreement back to Skybox on Sheffield. Each group must fax back a guest list to Skybox on Sheffield no later than 7 days before the booked event. Everyone included on the list must be mutually approved by both the group/company and the facility.

If the date you requested is not available, Skybox on Sheffield can possibly accommodate you in a pre-game capacity. Skybox on Sheffield can offer groups of 25 or larger a pre-game scenario that would last for approximately 90 minutes before the game (for example, if game starts at 1:20, pre-game would begin at 11:00 and last until 12:30). Same menu would apply as during the regular game and you and your guests could enjoy batting practice-an excellent alternative to booking an actual game.
The rooftop opens 30 minutes before game time. No one will be admitted before that time. Guests will enter the facility in front of the building and check in with a Skybox on Sheffield representative. All names on the pre-submitted guest list should mirror the attending group. Catering is available upon arrival for all 9 innings (see sample menu on catering page) and will begin as guests are permitted in the facility. Beer and wine service is suspended after the 7th inning as required under law. All areas of the rooftop and clubhouse are accessible throughout the game. Under our insurance policy, all guests are required to vacate the facility 30 minutes after the game has ended.
Skybox on Sheffield is licensed by the City of Chicago through a "Special Club license." In addition, Skybox on Sheffield is endorsed by the Chicago Cubs. Skybox on Sheffield is endorsed in that it has resolved its differences with the owners of the Chicago Cubs and pays 17% of all rooftop revenues to the Chicago Cubs as a royalty by virtue of a 20 year agreement. Skybox on Sheffield is an independent contractor, and not an agent, representative, or joint venturer of the Cubs and does not have the power to bind them in any manner.
